Welcome to Bay of Islands Swimming Club

Bay of Islands Swimming Club

We are a popular and successful swimming club catering for swimmers in the Bay of Islands and beyond. From learn to swim lessons to national competition standard training, we have it covered.

The club swims out of the 25m, 6-lane, heated indoor Te Papawai Community Pool in Kawakawa. Our members come from a wide area from Whangarei in the south to Kerikeri in the north and Paihia in the east to Kaikohe in the west.

Learn to Swim takes place from 4pm on Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons during school terms.

Squad swimming runs from Monday to Friday.

The sessions are overseen by our professional full-time coach, Alex Bennett, who has been coaching for more than 25 years and brings with him a wealth of experience, both national and international, as a coach and swimmer.
