Northland Junior Swimmer of the Year

Northland Junior Swimmer of the Year – Emilia Finer

At the Northland Presentation Carnival on 10th July 2016 in Kawakawa it was announced that Emilia Finer of BOISC has been awarded Northland Junior Swimmer of the Year. The club was thrilled with this news and is very proud of Emilia’s achievements over the last season. These include being the only junior swimmer from Northland to qualify for the New Zealand Junior Champs in 3 different strokes across 5 events. Emilia was also the only swimmer in the club to break a Northland record last year: the 11-and-under girls 1500m long course race record at Swimming Northland’s Long Distance Championships in December 2015.
