Rising Stars 2019

Rising Stars 2019 was a wonderful end to a wonderful season. On March 23rd and 24th 18 swimmers from BOISC took part in Swimming Northland's Rising Stars competition, the final meet for the 2018/19 season. All the swimmers had great success with many PB’s (some quite significant) and many medals and ribbons gained between them.

Layla Bell - aged 8 - was the star of the meet breaking 4 records in total for 9&U Girls: 50 Breast, 50 Free, 100 Back and 100IM. A fantastic effort.

The meet always culminates in the highly anticipated Parents' Relay. This year Sean Andrews, Megan Bayer, Sarah Venner and Kate Morrison were our parent representation and a big thanks should go out to them for their massive efforts in the pool.
